I found a couple of really good video's that cover this pretty well...

1. This guy refers to using his mic but it applies with any usb instrument...just be sure to have the correct input/out setting in your Audio Setting which you can find by clicking OPTIONS>Audio Setting. Click the window under input/output and choose whatever device you're using. (The video explains it all, just follow along...)

2. This is a WARBEATS tut that shows the same procedure but also shows you how to do multiple takes and pick the one that you want to use in your project while playing along with your beat as well. (This is the way I add scratches to my beats...) Very good video.

Good luck and if you have any questions, hit me up here. Thanks!

Hmmm, Im pretty sure the reason your turntable only plays by itself is because it's using a different driver but I cant figure out why nothing would be in your mix section. Let me think on this...i'll get back to you.

Ok, here are my settings...I'm using FL10 but the settings should be the same. See if this works but make a note of any changes you make just incase you have to go back to them.

Mine is set to M-Audio because I use their interface. If you don't have an interface, it should say Primary Sound Driver or ASIO4ALL.
