How To Install Random Plugins To FL6

I've recently downloaded a hodge-podge of VSTi, VST and DXi plugins off the net. Does anyone know how and where to put the ".dll" files so FL 6 can associate them? I've searched the forum for this question but I could find any definate answers. So if someone would please direct me to the answer or re-explain it, I would appreciate it.

Also the plugins i D/L'd are:

Steinberg Cubase
Native Instruments
Emagic

The File Types Are:

.EXE
.DLL
.MP1

after you've installed the plug-ins, put the .dll file into the VST folder for FL. The VST folder can be found by the following.

My computer, C drive, program files, imageline, Fl studio 6, Plug-ins, Vst. Put your .dll file in there.

Then when you open FL, make sure that you scan for new plug-ins and they should show up if you've installed them correctly.

before scanning chwck the vst. for vsti go to the top menu. channel>add one>more> fast scan

for effects, in the mixer click the drop down menu>more>fast scan

in both instances click the new vst youd like to add to the menu to light up the little f.

new vst's will show up red after the scan
