ummmm i suppose i could be wrong, maybe they are all off the top.....but how often do you see a DIRECT DISS? it would seem to me that, rhyming off the top, that would play a major role.

there really arent many battle mc's that stand out these days.... used to be juice and supernat were kings though... (although i never cared for supernat much)...

but on the pure freestyle tip... i have heard common spit some GREAT shit off the dome... about the shit in the room.....thats usually a good sign that its off the top.

and to be honest, i dont trust anybody's "freestyle" no matter how good or bad. they inevitibaly, somehow, someway, wind up word for word on an album later on....

so off the top or not, yeah they flow is weak, they all sound the same and they dont impress me. i am sorry that i dont think they are great.

a freestyle is a FREESTYLE.... FREE-STYLE.... adlibbing... off the dome... this new school prewritten freestyle shit is stupid... fuck it im gonna start doing some writtens and make a name for myself as a "freestyle" artist if thats whats going down these days.... might as well.....

yuo are absolutely right on allpoints... there was a time where i had these set, strict values, but if got a chance to get in the door i would do it, cause when you got family that needs you yuo will take whatever comes your way.

and this freestyle thing, i got no issue with it- but when it is presented as a freestyle..... thats misleading. just call it something else. freestyling isnt what these cats are doing. battling, yes. freestyles? nooooooooooooooooooooope.
