Has anyone here ever cleared a sample?

I know there are agencies you can pay to do the legwork, they charge $500 per song, then you have to give up publishing and / or pay a licensing fee.
Has anyone here done this on their own, without a middle man?

"he shouldnt worry about it he aint that big yet"...lol ouch..
I think that answered it for the community right there..
Blunt604 is a heavy smapler and appears to be "Out There" you may want to ask him if he doesnt chime in here...
Me? hell I stopped sampling because Im cheap, Im getting back into it now, and not worrying about it at this point.
