OK since I can't find anymore good sf2 I was thinking about coping some Hardware synth like xv2020 or xv5050 xv5080 or something of the sort....Is there anyways I could control a synth straight from FL or even better would a softsynth give me similar result?

Anyways its kinda vague but if you can help id appreciate!

I am using a mophatt with fruityloops for certain beats that I make, it appears that there is overhead as far as latency when I use more than say about 6 midichannels but if you got other sounds(softsynths and sf2's to go with it) this is perfect, if you could use mmc or mtc it would be more usable, but they didn't build this in but normal midi works.....there are even overlays for certain pieces of gear......I had an mp7 b4 the mophatt and I think you can do some nice sequencing using Fruityloops to control the module....and you can control pitch, and other assignable functions to externally control your module..........the only advantage is that maybe an external synth might have sounds that the softsynth doesnt or vis versa......I tend to think that it might be hard to find the better soundsets in a softsynth than the ones that roland has for the XV series....I could be wrong but I don't think you can right now.......

Also, it depends on which version of FL you use. Fl4.5 has the Dashboard which is a custom software interface for external midi cc's. You also need a good soundcard.
