M-audio ratium 61 key controler
and hiphoptools sample library

it'a all good but i heard if i want
to sample from record i have to
save the record to my hardrive
anyone know anything about this ?

you just record what you want to use from the record and cut it the way you want or loop it and save that as a sample.

yeah but how do i set a record player up to
my pc ? then i would save the song or songs etc.
to my hardrive send them to Kontakt as wavs and
cut until i just have what i want out of the song right ?
i got that part just not how i get a record to my Pc. Peace

ok Marval you got a few options....1 if you have cd recorder just burn all of your shidd to cd and archived it......2 if you have a quality soundcard with inputs and outputs.....use a program like soundforge or cool edit....next...PUt tha needle on the record....and let it play and just hit record on the program transport and then stop when you finished recording what you want...if UR like me I take like a day or at least 3 or 4 hours purely sampling from vinyl for later use that way you don't have to do it all at the same time you can then have all your samples to work with on the next session when you make tracks.....
