Good delays and reverbs???????

ok My boy just got and mbox2 and the waves diamond bundle(dont ask me how) and we are looking for some good presets for delays. We would also like to ad delays to some words in the main vocal but not sure how to do it. when we ad delays we want to get the word to fade out nice but when we do it for example the word plays at normal level then goes real loud then fades out nice...well i hope i didnt confuse anyone. please help thanks

dont do it to the vocal track do it to the backup track high light the word you want then go into audiosuite and pick the effect and apply it to the highlighted area.

you can automate in multitrack the on/off of the delay unit you're using on the words you want. i use the 6 tap delay on pattern mode and i set the delay for each tap and then less gain for each. the sound fades out nice | an alternative is setting just one tap and activate the feedback but you have less control here
