Word...DVD audio is great if you're into live uncontrolled video production. My homie goes around to local clubs to do on the spot artist interviews and everybody speaks at diff't levels of loudness not to mention the back noise in the club. Instead of having to perform surgery on the audio he drops it in this and "bam" problem in check.

I mainly use the RMSdoctor and MGvolumizer. This joint is great for your stems if you mix in another studio. Say you were playig around with your mix in your DAW but you intend to take your ish to a more equip'd studio and have an engineer mix it. Instead of having to bring all your stem levels up to a sufficient level in your DAW you can export them to a folder, batch load them in 4A and have all your stems at the same loudness level which makes your mix engineers job easier. He or she will thank u for it! They can start at zero with everything hot and work there way down from there. They usually like that....

U should always have a pc laptop or something for standalones that u can't get for Mac. I have a Mac lap for Mac stuff (that I never use)...lol

I do most of my mastering with manley massive/passive eq and the focusrite/audient bus compressor on the focusrite control 2802 console, like the sound of that compared to this. HOWEVER, compared to a simple limiter, this shit is extremely nice.

Dawg...to be honest....it crushes you're favorite mastering tool Har-Bal...REALLY! And I have a plugin that is the equivalent to Har-Bal called Assimilator Konnekt it's FREE. Does what Har-Bal does but as a plugin that u can use on the master buss or individual tracks. Say u like how a certain string ensemble loop sounds. Well u can get that eq curve and apply it to your strings much easier than Har-Bal.

4A-Studio is nothing like Ozone. For one it's a standalone mastering tool for AFTER u mix your song(s). And U wish you could get your music thru Ozone as loud as u can with 4A minus artifacts and minus the overcompression in order to do so! Not to mention you can match the loudness of any commercial released song EXACTLY.
