Aiight, I used to use this cheap ass radioshack turntable to sample, it had a Phono/line switch, so compatability was easy. I had got a new(mark) turntable in which I needed a mixer to make it Line in compatible. But now, when I record my shit into Cool edit my recording sound all hollow, like the hiss was high and the actually sample is low. And for some reason if I raise the volume on my recording the hiss just gets higher and sounds really weak.
My cheap radioshack turntable had a more ROBUST sound y'know. How can I fix this so my sampling doesn't sound all hollow nshyt.
I think it's my mixer.
I'll send bitches and weed to anyone who helps.
