Aiight, I used to use this cheap ass radioshack turntable to sample, it had a Phono/line switch, so compatability was easy. I had got a new(mark) turntable in which I needed a mixer to make it Line in compatible. But now, when I record my shit into Cool edit my recording sound all hollow, like the hiss was high and the actually sample is low. And for some reason if I raise the volume on my recording the hiss just gets higher and sounds really weak.

My cheap radioshack turntable had a more ROBUST sound y'know. How can I fix this so my sampling doesn't sound all hollow nshyt.

I think it's my mixer.

I'll send bitches and weed to anyone who helps.

I think its a problem with the mixer. Did you make sure to switch the mixer input to Phono instead of Line Input? If your using the main outputs from the mixer, make sure the crossfader is on the right side. You could have just one switch the wrong way, and that hiss and hollow sound would only be audio bleed.

Oh Yea,
I can give you my address for the weed and bitches.
