From MPC to Reason 3.0

Hey illmuzik fam,

I want to make the full transition from using my mpc to FULLY doing all of my production work. I have 2 questions:

1) Has anyone else at ilmuzik made this transition from mpc to just producing FULLY with reason 3.0?? If so how was it and what advice could you share to help me out?

2) I am having such a hard time getting the hang of drum programming on reasons sequencer. Could you give any help in that area so that my drum can be programmed right???

Well I went from a yamaha qy10 to reason/pro tools. are you using your mpc as a MIDI controller for reason? That would be a good start.

Are you quantizing the input on your drums? That may help. Also reason 4 will have better quantize features so that may help even more. What other issues are you having?
