You Know Wings, all this hating started with your post. You actually changed the atmosphere of the thread from something Positive to something negative.
1st you had 3 points saying the exact same to belittle the competition.
Then you missed and half quoted me so you could write some hater stuff about the software.
I said
on the other hand, I don't think to highly of reason at all, so I'm waiting for someone to prove me wrong.
You qouted just
now, "don't think too highly of reason at all" - i STRONGLY DISAGREE.
What happened to the I? Then you went onto hatin on my software of choice. I've tried to used reason maybe 3 times, and I didn't like it, I would think that anyone that read
so I'm waiting for someone to prove me wrong.
Would put 1 & 2 together, and understand that I'm not closed minded about my perception of that software, that I'm open to see it's ability.
The bickering and Biased ideas, are just a small part of the reason to have this competition
And now that I've read your last post, it's like you forgot all the hatin you did on the functionality of FL, with the butter up comment to sweep up the trash at the end. Then here goes Krzy k
It is the cost of fl studio that makes it as popular as it is, its programmers managed to fit everything and the kitchen sink into a affordable package. Reason developed in the light of the need for professionals with serious attitudes bout they music. and mpc is a classic there is no comparison or shall there ever be one for it is in a class of its own
This competitionis not about dissin, it's about getting on the same page.
What would this competition prove?
1. Just bcause you don't like doesn't mean that it can't compete with the best.
2. Just because it cost less doesn't mean it can't compete with the best.
3. Just because it cost more doesn't mean that it is the best. ( this gives hope to the less fortunate, who also would love to make music and never had he opportunity.
4. Software and hardware ability (what you can make it do , is some of the things that can be done with it).
5. Personal ability
6. That it really is fair game, based on experience and talent.
What is the competition for?
This is a competition were people could gain a new respect for the ability of other software and hardware tools not normally used by the indivisual.
This is a celebration of the abilities of the programs and hardware that allows us to make music. I don't expect to have any losers, and there are no prizes or winners, just acknowledgement, respect, and advice. All we need is a thread that we can use like a round table, and every person envolved can give there acknowledgement to the top 5 works they like the best. I'm looking for 5 people for each tool, that's 15 people. We all know somethings go without saying, like computers don't make beats on there own, so lets kill the noise, and lets compete to do our best. That's all I'm looking for.
If that competition is USELESS! what competition isn't
if you wanna help, like you most of the time seem to want to do, get us a thread when the time is ready. If not, step to the side.
And let use alone like Big D said.
