fl studio hanging when project loaded

word up fam .. i am having a small problem, i have this beat i am working on .. i added speech to it (the one in fl where you type out your speech) now everytime i open the project it hangs where it says rendering speech. it totally freezes fl studio .. what can i do .... i really liked that particular beat .. i need to open it ..

Can you do a system restore?

i.ll loose my project if i do that ... and anything else i did after the restore point ... and there is no way of removing that speech i inserted ...

what version are you using? if you are using 8 (7.4) and havnt updated to 8.1 (i think that version) than its gonna freeze. you may have to go back to flstudio.com and re-download it again. i had that problem also you will need to update to direct x 10 which is the latest version, you can hit the mircrosoft website to get it or just google it and that should fix your problem depending on which version of fl your using.

thanks Krazy .. i just ran dxdiag and noticed that my direct x version is 9.0c ... let me try and hook up 10 and see if that helps ... thanks bro
