Filtering Samples Crisis!!!

Yo I got this hot ass vocal sample that i chopped but the only thing is when its an acapella and it has that doo wop harmony in the background and it messing up my sample i need to know if theres anyway i can filter out the harmony in the backgroung leaving me wit just the main singer (vocals) in the acapella. Anyone know what i mean if so please help i need to get this right cause this sample is sick!!! So holla at ya boy if you can help me out. Good Looking Peace.

I dunno what software you got but running through some of the Cool edit lowpass and highpass filters is gonna be your bet or the ones in Soundforge you probably gonna take 15 minutes of tweaking and finding which one is the best....EQ is gonna help you too...I don't know if there is a product mad for that or not but there probably is something that might do the job.

this is indeed very difficult, I go with bigd on the filters or EQ at first.
maybe the analogx vocal remover will help:

the only way that would be possible was if the harmony was song at a lower octive than the other person was singing. then you could use a low-pass filter to simi eliminate the harmony.

Yo i keep getting those kinda of answers but im totally lost cause i dont know about filtering Low and High Pass. I have Cool Edit and i know how to get to the filters but i dont know what they do cause there are about 8 different ones and im lost in the sauce hoss. I really want to learn about the filtering process cause this will definately help my production to the next level u feel me. So can you give me a rundown on what filters do what?

ITS NOT GONNA WORK IN COOL EDIT. DO YOU HAVE A DEDICATED SAMPLER? OR THE NEW FRUTY LOOPS THEY CAN DO IT. OTHERWISE I DONT KNOW WHAT TO TELL YOU

Yo i got the FL Studio Producers edition so help me out where can i do this cause when i load the sample in my sampler channel it only gives limited options so where do i go once ive got it loaded into FL?
