Filtering bass out of a sample - Is there a way?

You can filter on just about every module in reason. You can also eq the bass out (depending on how much is there) or get it down so low that you can barely hear it, then layer your own bass over the top.

I normally use the vocoder you can set it to equalizer, then just raise or lower the bars in the frequency band level adjust until you find the bass. You could use the scream 4 distortion, turn off the damage and lower the highs and mids and raise up the lows. What I try to do is just find out what notes are being played in the bass line then bring them out more with a different bass instrument.

Use an M-Class Eq instead of the Parametric since the M-Class has more bands and precision.
Then u simply roll off all of the high end information while listening to your sample until youve removed just the right amount.
