We've got into debates about this here about sampling. Its the same premise, everything is sampling unless you make it yourself, but this sort of expands that.

Only watched a few minutes but I remember watching a documentary about musical ideas. Long story short, they slowed down birds chirping and would be able to hear melodies to old classical works. It could be argued that, our melodys truly come from nature and animals, remixing those ideas.
