Edirol UM-1 or UM-1X USB MIDI Interface Cable

What is the difference between these two?

Only thing I can tell is that the UM-1x appears to have longer cords?

I had the M-Audio Usb Uno ordered from InstrumentPro but they messed up my order and had no concept of customer service, so I'm looking again.

um1x has Leds for midi I/O, I think the led on the um1 is only a power indicator.

I suppose more LED info is always a good thing. Any other reason to get one over the other besides LEDs and price?

no, the one without leds will do just fine, most midi gear have midi indicating leds anyway that will show if you have communication in or out ( pc indicates midi signal too via your audio/midi platform )
