Damn girl I wanted to say the same thing you beat me too it, you know being from the 757 we get all of Neppies family stuff mad early, I actually heard this about a month and a half ago, I thought it was banannas, my boy who is a die hard Snoop fan didn't like it, I tried to explain this is a song for everybody the kids you me grandmothers (those 30something ones) but he still kept it gangster, actually I've been to the club about 4 times since it came out and haven't heard it in the club yet, I'll tell you the truth I haven't seen girls go crazy in the club like they do for "GET YOUR EAGLE ON" Pharell did those drums, and that beat is banging, kinda like a song your high school band would play, word

As simple as the beat is, there are some...well I don't know how to say it exactly. They performed some pretty detailed editting in the song. There is a static sound that comes in and pans back and forth left to right in a rhythm. I can hear it really well when I sit in the middle of my truck.

But I bet if they posted that beat (in the showcase)by itself and there was no Snoop spittin on it....it would get the thumbs down....LOL that track by itself was not my idea of clever, skillful or hot though.....sounds like something that someone put down in like 91 with their first alesis drum machine....that shows you that it doesn't matter how hot the beat is, sometimes the concept or mc will take that beat to the next level....my thoughts is balance.....either beat is gonna be completely stand out and the MC not so good but can put together enuff of a rhyme so it sells or the MC is gonna be well known and the beat just a beat just so, so and catchy enuff to back the MC.......????? anyone agree with this?

Pharrell can spit a lil bit, and he is constantly coming up with hooks choruses whatever, concepts for whole songs, he's been doing it for a while now!

you are wrong CHAD can and has stood by himself so has Pharrell and SHA Pharrell is a great drummer period, CHAD is the man with sounds and the Board, In the old days P would do the beat and CHad would come and mix and add sounds or change drum sounds but leave the hits the same, ShA is a musical genius or melodic guy sort of like CLassic, he can play mad instruments!!!
