Does anybody use the E-MU MP-7????

I want to get one of those but I never met anybody who owned one.
If anybody who ever owned an MP-7 reads this, could you compare-it to an MPC for me?

Hey,

I haven't sat down and played with either to give detailed info on it, but some general differences:

1. MP7 cannot sample, but it has a ton of sounds already in it and you can buy expansion ROMs to give you more sounds.
2. The MPC can sample.

I do have an expanded Proteus 2000, which has very similar sounds to those on the MP-7...I LOVE it, and it was so damn cheap.

I think themucka uses an Emu module and I know he uses an MPC....Mucka?

well i have a planet phat sound module it has ok sound but.the mp 7 is the p phat with a sequencer in it . so i think its a good piece for the most part i ve played with once i made a hot beat so go ahead do u
