Does anybody on here use the Fantom Xa sampling?

i know how to make beats on it but......when it comes to sampling and putting together a beat im totally lost.....I read the manual on sampling and everything.....TRIAL & ERROR and im still not sucessful doing this so your help would be really appreciated.....my illmuzik fAM

Like do u need help recording or actaully choppin it up. U know it reads .wav files so if u are good wit sampling on the computer then u could do all your samplin and choppin and then send it to da Xa when i had it i wasnt samplin so cant go into details like dat. Many dont have dat keyboard cause most dont have a feel for it but u keep at it and you will get it baby boy. Most would settle fo da S version or X6, X7, or X8 version.

O i didnt know you could import chopped samples into the keyboard....but isnt the fantom xa better than the fantom S? and doesnt the fantom xa have the same sound engine? so how wud one be better?

The fantom Xa is an watered down version. Just like da MO6 is da watered down version of the Motif ES. And yes da Fantom Xa reads .wav files. Jus save your sounds(chops) as .wav files and import them via USB. Read more in your manual boo and you will get it soon or later.
