does any body use cool edit pro, reason 2.5, and the mpc-2000xl
could you tell me how this setup is good cause i want to use cool edit to chop my samples and reason to make my melody( i don't know how to play piano but i will get a synthinsizer when i learn), and mpc-2000 to sequence my drums, so how would i run i these things together.

(i'm learning help me please)

haven't used reason... my boy loves his mpc, I use cooledit and I like it better than wavelab... cool is the way to for editing samplez fo sho.

Oh yeah, you can use cool edit to make sure your level is right after you are done with your comp... somewhat mastering it and removing pops or ticks or cutting out harmful subfreq (less than 20hz or more than 20khz)...

If I were you, I would invest in a decent controller and learn some... it's really not too hard after you do it a bit. You start to sound good after a couple weeks if you keep on it.
