yes he has bro,,, but he doesn't get shine like the majors. He has his own label wit 2 artists. He just did a track of "Hip Hop Lives". He produced a couple cuts off Christina Aguilera's album last year. He's around,,lol. Just underground and makin moves.
Premo does his thing for the love of the music, I am very inspired by that.
Its not about the fame and fortune for him, but yet he is highly respected by those who know hiphop.
The quality of his music portrays the love he has for the artform, his style isnt "Commercial" he has maintained his dignity and never sold out IMO. Thats what makes him so great, I think.
And besides he has been doing his thing, hes always been busy. Just not commercial.
The most commercial track he has done lately I would say was "Classic", but his tracks become commercial because they are good and people like that quality. Not because he pays the radio stations loads of money to play his music and make it popular by repetition. At least premo still has his reputation intact. Truly inspiring.
