cool edit 2.0 question

i was watchin the adobe audtion promo video and they said you can do sum shit where u put an effect on a track so it responds to 7.1 dolby digital systems and other surround sound set ups, i was wondering if u could do this with cool edit cuz i notice some of my beats sound a little flat in my car, if cool edit dont have this feature ill prolly try doubling up my tracks or sumthin,any suggestions

Try panning your instruments in your beat. It makes a world of difference for sure. A car stereo wont be surround sound anyways, its just more speakers. Using the panning on yer shit will give it more body and less flat sounding. Hope that helps.

7.1 and 'sounding flat in my car' have nothing to do with each other.

Yes, with CEP2.1 you can encode 7.1 WMA files, but you will not be able to play these in your car; Audition 1.0 is the same as CEP2.1, only with a different splash screen.

You music sounds flat in your car probably because it hasn't been mixed well...be sure to have things panning around, the audio levels balanced, and DO NOT compress the hell out of it.
