Commercial Music ..As in Real Commercials, and its influences...

Lately some of the best "Trax" I ve heard have actually come from TV commercials, I dont care about the product but the music itself gets my ears to perk up(which is its point no doubt).But for real there are some dope ass beats out there behind some commercials.
Everything from cars to meds to improve your life.
Id like to be able to tap into that market, I wonder if they have a "Grammy's" for that genre!

Taxi.com is a good way to get into that market. They have solicitations for that kind of work all the time. My boy used to get a bunch of local work through Taxi. He did stuff for the Arizona Diamondbacks and a few of the Casinos out in AZ.

They also have work for things like TV shows and movies. He just got placement on a movie soundtrack that is in production.

You gotta pay to have access to the classifieds but from what he has shown me there are some great opportunities. I was going to get my own account but I am trying to get my catalog up first.

I have thought about Taxi, I just know since about 03 and definatley this year I have heard some nice influential trax that I have gone back and remade my own way, that sound nothing like the original, but have been influential.
