I juss copped a new 2.2 ghz computer an upgrade from 700mhz but the problem is im hearing clicks and pops on the new comp when there were none on the old one. I've done the usual unclick hardware buffer and still no change as well as bringing the latency up higher to give the comp more time to process it still brings no change. There isn't even any cpu use when i'm hearing them. I just brought over some of my files from the old comp those which used like 10-15 percent cpu on the old one used 0-1 percent on the new one but the clicks and pops are present. On the old comp i just used the intel integrated soundcard, for the sound on the new comp it has the realtek 97 could this be the problem?

yep its the ASIO settings. If you don't have a soundcard with ASIO drivers then get ASIO4ALL, which works very good.
