Cleaning techniques

What do you guys use to clean your diggs after to buy it, record cleaning solution, alcohol, homemade solutions.

I generally just use alcohol. CD's, I use something like Pledge. Spray and use fingers to rub in until it's somewhat water. Then take a clean dry towel and clean. I got this from my computer teacher and it works. I had actually used lotion on scratched Cd's and it worked well.

What do you use.....

Distilled water and a cloth

hot water and soap under the sink (like you wash the dishes).

And once there dry, windex and a paper towel.

rubbing alcohol diluted with water

I use this vinyl cleaning fluid I got hold of. You just spray it on and rub it in with the brush provided. It works pretty well.

Endust anti-static cleaning spray. Seems to work pretty good.

Kool.... so most of you use about the samething that I do. I just wanted to know, because sometimes when you clean the vinyl it looks ashy afterwards.

I do the Alcohol and water thing too. I just have a phobia of germs being on my records when i first get em. lol You never really know where they've been.
