I was thinking of getting an mpc but got a good offer on an S900 im going to sequence every thing on Cubase i was just wondering if i Get and MPD and S900 will that Be pretty much = to an Mpc

hmmmm I had an s950 and I think the only real difference between that and the 900 may possibly be sample time like 11 or 12 seconds, lower bit rate sample like 40bits and both were 12 bits...I cant remember but that is a dope piece of equipment the filters are pretty good on it....it essentially is the sampling engine that the mpc 60 had...or so that's what I was told, but you should be good once you brush up on it and learn how navigate the banks and place sounds I would say use it for drums and then put your samples in cubase....

How could i hook this up to scsi to my pc what will that do will i be able to load sound from my pc

i dont think it has the SCSI feature on available for an S900. I think you'd have to sample everything into it. Depending on how you use it though, you can just record drum samples into it and then record that back into cubase to get that gritty texture but still program everything in cubase.
