Can someone tell me what sample loop means

i understand how it gets the loop on point.but what else can u do wit it

that all a sample loop is,a sample,thats looped,from there u can edit ur loop however u want but thats the basic definiton for the term

sample loops are sounds that never ends, repeat sound or clips or music.

there is allot of things you can do with a sample loop.
you can change the tone of the sound,change the pitch, drop it anoctave, add reverb, distortion..tweak it anyway you want..

well thanks for the reply but i meant.can u make it start at diffrent point on the beat without choppin it up again.trust me i know how to sample i m just want to hear some other ideas on it

Hey,

You can, provided that your sampler allows you to. I believe that Kontakt (a software sampler) allows you to set different loop points on a sample and you do different things to trigger them off. I also believe that you can change the loop in and out points in real-time while playing your music back...
