Im only thinkin about it, but i was lookin at keyboards. I saw the Korg microKorg and the M-Audio Oxygen-8. And i dont work with keyboards much so i dont have a clue if this a stupid question (i dont care either).

Do those two that i named have built-in sounds? Or do you have to buy a sound library or something? If you only hafto load up samples, thats cool cuz i got plenty. But if you hafto get a certain thing, or it has to do something with midi, then im clueless.

When i say built0in sounds though, i mean like casio. You just type the number in for the instrument you want and its there.

Yeah the micro korg is a synthesizer like eka said.

Korg also has another keyboard called the microkontrol, which is a midi controler, which is not the same as the micro korg. It has 16 pads (like on the fantom s) and keys.

The oxygen 8 is also a midi controller you hook it up to the comp thru usb and it controlls programs like Reason and such.

The asr10 is a sampler/ sequencer sorta like the mpc. But pads are aranged like piano keys and are soft to the touch .

The DX-27 is a full sized keyboard version of the DX-100. Like all DX's it uses (FM) Frequency Modulation synthesis. It's not the easiest form of synthesis to program but can result in some excellent sounds. The DX27 is not as flexible nor powerful as a DX7, but it does have some cool sounds. It is most renowned for its great analog bass sound (Patch #01) that is awesome for techno, house, jungle, and acid music styles; it's very gritty, the bass tone with gristle! However, any other preset sounds that you'll find in the DX-100 are pretty bad. Though the DX-27 adds a standard 61 note keyboard it still lacks filters, arpeggiators, effects or performance wheels and controllers.

Afrique I didn't know that they actually speak ebonics (not using ebonic in a derogatory but that's the only way I can describe it, somebody got offended when I asked them about that and used the word...well I'm black I don't take it personally)..... in Europe like over here in my hood where thats natural and there's absolutely no practice involved in talking like that....I want to hear you talk like you type....did you have to take a class in hip hop lingo or ghetto slang like america or something?....I am just laughing at "Mite Do" I lived across the water one time and never heard any kids talking with slang I hear around my block........LOL
