Bought A new intel Mac Pro, question about pro tools/mbox

i recntly bought a new MAc Pro but have been told a need version 7.1 of pro tools or higher to run the program. I also have and Mbox so i was wondering i f i buy the software of Pro Toosl 7.1 will it still run with my Mbox?

i was just concerned that the new versions of pro tools would only work with an Mbox2 not an original mbox, which I have. Should i b concerned?

no as far as im aware the mbox is fully compatible with a pro tools even the new ones yea u'll need PT 7.11 iirc
to be 100% sure just check the digidesign site its got all the stuff you need to know on there !
