aight im startin to get some rotation for some singles i have. but my ultimate plan was for me to make some good singles that people will want me to perform. So what would be the best way of gettin a job for a show? should i just wait for someone to call me? or should i act as a booking agent and call different venues lettin them know about me and tryin to getta show with them? i like to always be doin somethin 24/7 with my music so obviously im not gonna just wait for someone to call me. so when i do call these places what should i say or what info should i inform them of? eventually im gonna get one of my friends to act as my bookin agent (if hes down for that) he already has a job in marketing so i think he'll be perfect for the job? (he sets up appointments for different sales and stuff like that)

but yea the question is what would i bookin agent do/say once he called a place tryin to get an artist a show?

and we are assumin that everyone likes and is requestin my song on the radio.

You would negotiate for the price of your show. If you have proof that you are a draw, you will have to prove to the manager of the venue your value and whether you are worth the risk.

Perhaps the manager of the venue will bundle your act with many others to lower his risk of loss exposure.

Do it yourself J-Malice, no booking agent will pick up an artist that can not sell tickets. The booking agent makes their livelihood off a percentage of your receipts. Get out there and start routing a tour, or at least making a couple shows.

Sincerely,
God
