"An extraordinary look at two years in the lives of five young heroin addicts, Black Tar Heroin offers a rare and intimate portrait of how ... all » heroin devastates young lives. The film chronicles the daily lives of Jake, Jessica, Tracey, Oreo and Alice, three young women and two young men, ages 18 to 25, as they face the ever-present perils of hard core drug addiction.
The film shows the brutality and degradation of the drug life, but also depicts the addicts' pain and raw yearning -- to get clean, to hold relationships together, to re-connect with their families, to get their lives back"
Good Evening fellas,
This is an absolutely-must-watch film. No comment can portray this hell on earth.
How can we survive, as species and as a society, when three MAJOR (most important) elements are missing: LIGHT, LOVE & PEACE. Very often, deeply spiritual yogis and masters forget the UNIMAGINABLE pain out there. Not me... It's freakin' wild out there brothers... DARK DAYS! I know the deal personally, I've visited plenty of crack houses and dope fiends over the years... Worked with dirty-than-rats homeless folks and spoke with numerous abused children, almost-dead-from-overdose-street hookers and so on. I've been one on one with bag-of-bones-soulless "former-humans" (I don't even know how to call them). People often ask me: "Wings, how come you don't dwell in perfect light and always keep getting back to Darkness?" And I honestly and humbly answer: "Darkness is my inspiration, for I believe that a saint is someone who penetrates the depth of darkness and yet remains as holy & divine". This is the real deal right here...
Look at their eyes, look at the inconceivable pain and agony... We - human beings - are systematically destroying the human heart. We are giving up our consciousness and selling it for cheap pleasures and immediate satisfaction.
Don't sleep,
Wings of an Angel
