Both are pretty solid production wise, on Beg for Mercy, it gets to a point real early that I get tired of 50 singing every damn hook and I think they should have tried to incorporate Yayo more. It aint even no shouts to him hardly
The only song I don't like on the Black is 99 problems, Black is a lil better cause of Jay's rhymes.
Also has anyone checked the Rza album, it just dosen't keep my attention,

And yo, soundboy, the only track you dont like is 99 Problems?? Yo man, your not appreciating wat the man has to say! Thats track is deep....Yeah, I understand the beat isn't that nice hip hop feel that everyone loves but yo, the song has substance.....99 Problems is one of my favorite tracks on the album...Theres more to a song than just the beat....
If I had to pick the worst 2, I would honestly have to say the 2 neptunes tracks...Change clothes, and Allure.....The beats arent great and jigga doesnt really have much importance in his lyrics on those 2 tracks

im a go with beg for mercy because i didnt feel the black album was jay-z best effort, the album felt incomplete to me and just because change clothes was produced by the neptunes it didnt mean it had to be a single at all. they force fed that song into the american audience with radio play. beg for mercy felt real street to me it had that rawness you dont see that often now days.

all in all their both hype albums but jays stuff has more substance....theres more personality in his music whereas the g-unit ish just kinda comes off as an attempt to entertain the general pupic best...not saying thats bad but jigga can do both and did so on the black album
black album hands down..... the g unit album, honestly its some shit i woulda loved when i was 16 and on some wild shit... hi tek ripped that " g- unit" beat though...but now that im 22 its kinda cheesy...the black album has alot more substance to it... my fav tracks are encore, december4, and public announcement
