beef with mpd16

so I'm using the mpd16 with reason, but it's always playin at full level, whether or not I have full level turned on. and the pads seem to be really unresponsive too, like I have to hit it pretty hard to play a sound. anybody know how to fix this?

the MPD is like an MPC and you have to crank those pads hard. Have you downloaded the newest drivers off akai's site?

change the sensitivity level. Ive got one and +5 in the mdp utility made an extreme difference.
