Im working on a test project....here is the gist
What i need is someone with an MPC to make me a short 4 bar loop (i will provide a small drumkit, the loop doesnt have to be complicated, just a boom clack, simple) keep the MPC on default meaning, keep the sound dry, no FX. Export the loop at 41/24 (if available) if not 41/16 is good. Post the loop here for me to download, or use a link. Only thing is I need the loop in wav (dont want mp3 artifacts).....PLEASE could someone help a brother out?
This is what im going to attempt...
I know the MPC has its own unique sound right out the machine..thats
known. I know it has a certain amount of default compression. Im going to use a spectrum analyzer and try and design a Reason Mastering Suite to replicate that sound. Yes I know alot of you will say "you cant make software sound like hardware" but CLOSE is possible. Not that im a coder or anything but look at what they did with the Waves SSL 4000 plugins..REMARKABLE. I've played with an SSL board and (its old news) but they were spot on to my ears..
If you guys are down to helping me out respond to this thread and I'll post up the lil drum kit. The reason i want to use drums I provide is because i need to know how they sound as is. And I need to be able to A/B them.
So please ILL help me out. If im happy with what i achieve, I will def post up the combi for all the fam! THANKS IN ADVANCE
RESPECT!
