yeah i saw it, you know its a nice porto combo with the duet as this the One is lacking a stereo input but really good when creating an aggregated device.

To me its a cool idea but super limited in features and I personally dislike the I/O style cables that plug into the device....but whats cool about something like this is it would be great for travel I suppose and quick small one-input recordings.....I see it more as sort of the equivalent to a travel guitar....you know the shitty one that only costed a couple hundred dollars that your not afraid to take to the beach, etc while you leave your Martin D6 at home where its safe.
I wouldn't want to rely on something like the One for tracking out my MP or doing stereo guitar recordings since it obviously cant accommodate recordings like that unless u layer one input after the other.

i think this tool will stick with a lot of cats who are workin itb already, the mic in there cant be bad considering that it is apogee.

that's what i was thinking. this would work for me since the only thing that i would really need it for is a mic pre, and the occasional guitar.

been startin to use live guitars/bass/pianos... but this might be nice. Savin for the korg m3 right now... and was plannin on savin for a apogee rosetta 800 with apogee symphony x pci interface. That's not gonna change for this.
