anybody know what sound this is?

ther is a sound Timbaland uses in alot of songs i.e tha end of we need a resolution,we aint ready, and the Jay z and Juvie song on vol. 3 that name escapes me at tha momnet. For the longest i thought it was a revesed string but when i reverse mine i dont get that same effect.....does anyone know what this sound is.....chuuch

nvermind. i found it.


I think timb fades the sample a certain way, then reverses it. I dont usually use this kinda sound so my answer probly isnt real accurate, but thats what i think he did.
