Anybody ever apply for a grant???

Has anybody here ever applied for a grant to make music or do film or photo or anything creative like that? I was thinking of applying for one to travel to different places and learn the culture and make music/take photos. Where do you look for something specific like this? Somebody...Anybody?

I haven't but I know it can be done... There's some local cats that do it for there community center/studio... I think it would all depend on what will come out of it.. But then again, I don't know shit about a grant or how to get one.... Good Luck though homie, It's defintly woprth a shot... Maybe you could create a petetion and have illmuzik cats sign it for u? I'd be down for that...
