Another reunion

So the tribe is coming back and i can't wait for it. But does anyone know of the Pete rock and CL smooth reunion? I heard they were coming back to make an album about a year ago. Anyone have any recent news on this?

I havent heard of their reunion but I hope it works out...back in the day when I lived in Queens, Pete was one of the hottest DJ's on the radio. He and Red Alert were my favorites. They pretty much inspired me to buy my first set of turntables. I hope it works out but like Tribe, I wouldn't expect a big response from the mainstream because it seems like after you're gone for so long coming back is only for the people that liked you from the first go round no matter how good you were when you left.

Oh and I forgot to mention that Pete did do a couple of albums that featured guest rappers (including CL) after their breakup. They didn't amount to alot but I enjjoyed the production done on them.

pete and cl were working on an album earlier this year but i heard they said fuck it halfway through due to creative differences (word is that pete wanted to do harder stuff).....thats whats up
