I've recently decided to take a stab at producing and bought an Sr-16 drum machine. My question is what sound cards do you recommend for a cpu that will hook this up through MIDI along with a Mic and maybe a couple of more components when I get them (keyboard etc.)... I've been looking at the Soundblaster Audigy 2 Platinum but I wasn't sure if this would work like I want it to as far as hooking everything up.. I chop my samples in Fruity Loops and I want to use my Sr-16 to add real drum sounds instead of the lame ones they have.. I thank anyone in advance if you can help direct me to what soundcard to cop, and if you know how I can set it up through fruity loops so I can import the drums...
