That hasn't worked in over 10 years. Radio stations these days shell out a lot of money to their Djs to keep listeners entertained. There are tons of statistics involved these days no DJ working for a fortune 500 company is going to risk loosing his job playing an unsure song.

DJ's wont even play music unless it's passing certain measures in a statistic analyzer. Snoop's music even get's turned down until it reaches a certain statistic figure.

These Djs have to play music that cover time frames work hours. Most people listen to music in their vehicles and that is the market

People are getting fired for playing songs with no statistic backup (regardless if it's a big artist)
