@odbarq - Yeah I'm sure that something like this will enable you to do things thats near impossible or a lot more complicated to do normally and I'm sure this will throw your workflow off a bit at first but I think once you get it, you'll get more proficient at it. Lou I've never heard any of your work but I would definitely make sure that everything is on point with sound quality and what DOX was saying...appearance wise. Just any little detail that you think would make your project presentable at a professional level. Good luck. -

Eventhough this is geared more towards tech, trance type stuff... I imagine this being used in house, dubstep and even hip hop. Check it out...definitely a game changer imo. -

Respect that^^^, I think the general consent is that it is valuable knowledge but it's not a necessity. Knowing music theory isn't gonna define who you are as a producer whether you make it big or not. Keys and scales don't usually come into play until you either start composing or mixing samples from different songs. Most of us here take 1 song, chop it up, add drums, a few effects and we're pretty much done...The great thing about that is knowing the key is not very important because most...- dacalion
