what? the principals behind recycle are basically what all other time strech software is based of off. If you cant get recycle or .rex files to work you dont know what you are doing. Recycle always gives me better results the acid, sonar or abelton.

The basic theory behind removing vocals is that they are usually dead center in the mix, so vocal removers for the most part remove the center of the stereo field. Usually you also get very unwanted side effects from this. But give analog X a try.
What? Dude speak english. Samplitude was first made by Sekd and I would venture to say the best sounding multitrack environment. I would rather mix in samplitude than nuendo or pro tools. Also we are talking about there high end stuff samp pro is $1000 or even tword the higher end is Sequoia...

If you have the sample loaded in both then you could run in to trouble. I bet thats what is happening.
You should be able to make great songs with hammerhead and acid free. If you cant you dont know what you are doing and should not move on to something more "advanced"
Well download the demo and try it. It really depends on what you are using it for. I like it for many reasons
1. the wave form size actually changes based on the volume of the clip (this is huge and once you use it it is hard to not have it)
2. CD burning from the timeline is awesome!
