    Ya I agree you need to something to hit, thats why I love my akai MPD and my Maudio keystation. Pare them up with reason and you are good to go!

    they are two totally different programs. Audition is great for chopin samples, but I use pro tools for recording a band. I mainly use macs so I dont get much sonar time these days but sonar 6 is great. I use pro tools (and am working on pro tools certification) because it will help my career...

    um, I have on and there is no noticeable delay. Your problem is that you are probably using standard windows audio drivers for your sound card and not ASIO drivers.

    just different actually. VST is much more popular. The old versions of sonar handled DX plugins much better, but sonar 6 handles both about the same. You should be able to control your plugin via midi. It had been awhile since I have done that in sonar, I think you need to assign your midi...

These days its to easy to leave all your effects in the virtual world, keep all your takes and even change your instrument sounds...

    I am an engineer/Media producer by trade and find I have to find time to make beats lol. Learning to be a good engineer takes years and is a full time job. When you are working on music focus on that dont worry about anything else. If you are the engineer focus on the client.

    I have on and love it, the only two things I had to do to get it to work how I wanted it was change the note assigment and turn the sensitivity all the way up. They are cheap on ebay right now.
