    Working in the music industry and not knowing Pro tools is like a graphic designer not knowing Photoshop. 7thangel do you make your living in the music industry? I know of two people on this forum that do. And both of us know PT inside and out.

    You need a decent sound card and monitors to mix. Pro tools works with only digi hardware, but Nuendo works with about anything.

    Turn her vocal mix way down in the headphones, so she can hardly hear herself. This will force her to sing louder and will almost always result in a better performance. in her mind she will just think she is singing quietly. Engineering is all psychology!

    thats because M-audio (digi/Avid) does not own that domain name. Maudio for a long time was named "Midi Man" and when they got in to audio interfaces did not think the name fit any longer. maudio.com was at the time taken, so they bought m-audio.com
