Yeah, thats another way to safe-guard yerself from getting fucked too.....self contain any beats that have sounds contained from outside a refill.....those sounds wont need to be saved else where then, youl have them in the beat when u load it later, but what sux iz u still gotta make sure u... -

I use DVD-R's....They fit the most data on one take and their reliable as long as you keep them in a safe place. I save all material from the rns files, to the refills, to the samples used outside of refills.....As long as a piece of audio was used or cut for a prject, i save it. Without those... -

If ya got a cheap mic your not gonna capture good sound regardless.....First get a good mic, then learn about microphone placement becuase thats 1/2 of what makes a mic shine, then get a good preamp to run yer mic through to yer sound card, then get a good sound card, and once u got all that... -

Some details would be helpful, ie: What are using to prgm yer beats with? And setting up your play list was a little vague, can u explain? -
Not using quanitze in your beats.
As a habit, i always leave the quantize off....then afterwards, i asses weather or not to lock shit perfectly in place....theres usually one ore two little misshaps that ill have to go back and tweak, but alota the time its straight the way it sounds.....its just a matter of practicing rhythm to... -

I always start with a mixer as my master, then another mixer as my drummix, then my redrum of course which is connected to my drum mix which is then connected to my master.....lol -
