    RnB Producers

I usually start with a chord progression, then go play something with the strings or bassline next. Then some guitar or other instruments to accent what's goin on. There are no rules to it though, go with what you feel needs it! Make it all consistant and the sounds "accent" each other.

Wings, excellent post. Lex I feel exactly what you are saying about people wanting to help but not wanting to be naive about things or portrayed as weak. I myself would fall in this catagory. I want to reach out and bring up others and help those who need it, but at the same time I know...

lfo? downsampling stuff in fl studio and shit like that.

yeah thats what Q is. from the sound of it though, it sounds like its adjusting the "width" of the resonance though. If you put the cut knob down half way for instance, and then put the Q knob half way you should hear some filtering/resonance going on. Mess with the settings from there, you...

Who Here actually owns/works/profits from a Recording Studio?

Yeah I definitely know Swivels got it going on. I like the idea of having other producers beats to sell at my studio as well. I have a lot of artists that are looking for beats and are paying, but can barely keep up with the demand. Maybe if there was a slight commision on the sale or...
