Thanks guys. I never tried that looking for that certain quality in a kick, I'll try it though. I usually just layer them until they sound good, but it eventually gets really muddy sounding and my mixing skills aren't that great yet.
When you guys layer them, how do you get them to not sound so muddy? Even when I cut in that muddy range, it still sounds whack. Should I just be layering about 2 kicks and not 4? Or when I export the track to be mixed should I set the kicks to the same channel so they come out as 1 track.

Yo thanks Tree. I downloaded some, but I'm still waiting to try them o ut. I'll probably do it tonight while I'm working on some new beats. It seems like some of them aren't that good though. A lot of the reviews I read said a lot of them were whack.
I'm really feelin those ethnic sounds right now. If anyone has any links or names of some VSTs with clean ethnic sounds, let me know cuz I don't have any knowledge of that many VSTs besides Trilogy and Sampletank haha.
Alright thanks man. One more question, why does it sound like the bass is clipping with some of the bass hits I chopped when I upload them into Kontakt? And it sounds fine when I just scroll through my packs in FL and click on it.
