well do a little research on the difference between stage mics and condensor mics. that audio tech mic you have is a large dia condesor, which needs more power (Phantom and or a tube pre-amp, mic pre,,, etc...). regular mics like the shure sm58's dont need phantom power cuz it has its own... -

save the audio from cool edit as wav. then your mpc will accept it. mpc's take .snd and .wav file formats.....! later, ..ELDIA.. -

welcome to the iLLfam ! if you want a sampler, be a little more specific, hardware or software? i would say get a software sampler first since you have a comp already.. learn the basics. and if you get the feel of it all, then you might want to get a hardware sampler, maybe akai?!? have fun...- eldiablo
