    Alot of us are old school hip hop heads so yes there is alot of sampling. Theres some that are into trap beats also. Sometimes I sample but not always. The beat I submitted today is all original.

    I feel you. There was one that reminded me of like an early 2000s shady/gunit beat that was fucking fire. Then about a minute in it changed. I was like why you do that. The shit was dope the way it was.

    Boom Bap. Personally I can't stand todays "trap music". It all sounds the same to me. All I hear is bells and whistles and it drives me insane. There just doesnt seem to be any creativity and originality in it to me but hey to each his own. If thats what you like do your thing.

    Yo I just got Kontakt 5 for free from Ni's website yesterday. It just comes with a few basic instruments but there seems to be a ton of free plug ins. I never used it but am digging it so far.

    Does anyone else use a turntable with usb to record into a daw specifically Fl Studio? It didnt look like it would be considered midi so I wanted to make sure it would record as a line in before I buy one. Hope this makes sense.
