lol, really i just like everything to go as fast as possible. theres only 24 hrs n a day, i never feel like im being productive enough... i mean if the hotkeys wont grab what im looking for ill do it manually but why fk around when something can happen instantly -

chopping up samples
whats the best program to chop samples up in? i used to to use Cool Edit but i dont have it anymore and cant find it. looking for a replacement. Edison or FL slicer are str8 but im lookin for something with hotkeys to make it a faster process like cool edit had...used to be able to hit shift+]... -
Bought maschine and now i just use it for the sounds!!
thats me^ i hate the scenes n shit in maschine it kills my work flow. I can bang beats out fast in Fl so i just throw the maschine in midi mode n use it in FL. -
Getting an entire album to sound the same?
ive found if you turn your master fader on all the tracks down all the way they have a consistent volume. other than that id listen to lion ;p -

Clean mix, everything stands out . lil dude: little 2 techno for me but its tight. some sonic the hedgehog ish proph: i like that piano sample a lot. beat would be easy to flow to, i think you should leave the drums in a little more instead of droppin em out so...- 2infamouz

Hardware sounds?
Alright ill def check it out, east/west is cool but for some reason it gets real glitchy on my pc...cant b my specs im running 24 gb's of ram and 3.2 quadcore with 4 virtual cores ...dunno. thanks for the advice n BTW that does not suck its pretty epic bro yehh i cant learn string / brass... -

i know you can get dope sounds out of those vst's , i mean listen to my beats...but im looking for a less synthetic sound...Like some orchestra ish that don't sound like a synth. Or i guess, whats a good way to make a synthetic brass/string sound more natural? -

My main go to synth plugins are nexus 2 , predator and tone2 gladiator. would something like omnisphere be a step up ? or maybe some of Ni's software ?
